Grief Support & Therapy

Grief Support

  • Individual Grief Support for Teens (16+), Young Adults & Adults

  • Grief Support Groups for Teens (16+), Young Adults & Adults

As someone who knows the loneliness of loss, I offer a safe, compassionate space for you to bring your grief, exactly as it is. No timelines. No pressure.

Grief and loss are areas of special focus in my practice. As a widower, former caregiver, and someone who has supported my own children through grief, I understand grief from the inside out. I also bring personal experience of parental loss and anticipatory grief. I support clients in all stages of grief; whether you are facing a terminal diagnosis in the family, adjusting to life after a significant loss, or supporting your child, teenager or young adult through their own grieving process.

Grief affects the whole mind and body.

You may feel irritable, exhausted, unable to concentrate or remember things, more anxious, sad, angry, indifferent. It may be hard to be with other people. It may be a struggle to find motivation and meaning.

These experiences can feel overwhelming, scary and lonely. Together, we can create space for all of this — to name what you’re going through, to ease the weight where we can, and to walk with your grief in a way that honours both your loss and your own pace.

Therapy

Psychotherapy for Adults, Young Adults & Teens (16+)

Navigating anxiety, grief, loss, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, identity questions, parenting, burn-out, relationship issues, and personal growth.

Supporting you to feel more connected to yourself and the world around you.

My practice is rooted in deep listening, respect for your lived experience, and a belief in your capacity to heal.

I bring an integrative, trauma-informed approach that draws from somatic and body-centered therapy, mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), anti-oppressive practice, creative arts therapies, and ecotherapy. I tailor our work to meet your unique needs and support you in moving toward the goals and changes that matter most to you. I hold a Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) with a focus on mental health evidence-based treatments.

In addition to traditional talk therapy, I offer pathways for healing through the body and the natural world. I am a certified 5Rhythms® teacher and a trained Forest Therapy Guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy. These practices invite reconnection with movement, breath, and nature as powerful resources for regulation, resilience, and inner clarity.

At the heart of my work is the desire to create a space where you feel safe to be fully yourself.

A space where you can get in touch with your emotions, explore your inner world with curiosity and kindness, and feel supported as you move through what you’re experiencing.

Together, we can work to deepen your self-understanding, honor your strengths, and bring compassion to your struggles.
